By air:
Fly into MSP (Minneapolis St. Paul) airport.
You can try to fly into RST (Rochester International Airport), but flights are typically extremely expensive, and rarely non-stop.
Either way, make sure you are not booking a flight to Rochester New York.
From MSP, you can take the Groome shuttle to downtown Rochester. It's about an 90 min ride. Make sure you reserve a few days in advance. See the link below for their website. Cost is currently $44 each way.
When using Groome, reserve from MSP and select your hotel from the dropdown. If you select "501 on 1st" that will put you about 1 block from the apartment.
Groome TransportationYou don't need a car.
Everything is within walking distance. You can walk from one end of the downtown area to the other end in about 20 minutes.
If you do have a car, most hotels have valet parking.
There are also public parking garages, called Ramps, all over town.
Average cost for Ramps is about $16/per day, some are free on weekends.
You will need a car/Uber to get to national chains like Target, Walmart, fast food, grocery shopping, etc. All of these are about a 15 minute drive south.
There is a small general store right in the center of the downtown area: Eagle General Store
Here are some places to stay, all are walking distance to ALGE headquarters:
